How long have you been "in the business" as a pet sitter and dog walker?
I have been doing this out of my passion for animals since I was a teenager, but professionally since 2012.
What type of animals do you care for?
Dogs (all breeds), cats, birds, pocket pets, exotics, reptiles, large animal/ranch, large fish aquariums, you name it, we can handle it!
Are you bonded, insured?
I am bonded and insured via Pet Sitters Associates.
Do you make exceptions and cover zipcodes outside your set service areas?
I do! There will be a flat rate extra gas fee of .50cents per mile from my zip code of 95765.
Do you offer boarding?
No, as I find that animals tend to do better in their own environments.
Do you walk dogs from more than one household at the same time?
No. As much experience as I have in animal behavior, we all know animal behavior is unpredictable. I also do not take dogs to dog parks for this reason.
What got Creature Comforts Pet Care started?
A lifetime "animal person", I followed my passion and went to school to get my degree in Veterinary Technology. People have always asked me to care for their pets, and I finally turned it into a business I love!
Do you ever keep a client's key on file? Is there an extra charge?
Yes, I keep keys on file (preferred!). No extra charge. I prefer to keep keys on file, at my home in a fire proof lockbox that only I know the code to. If you require I still pick up/drop off keys, there is a fee of $15 per trip. PLEASE HAVE A COPY OF YOUR HOUSE KEY ready from at the initial consult.
How much advance notice do you need?
Usually I am OK with short notice, but during holiday seasons or busy times it's best to book as far in advance as possible. Chances are if you don't I will be booked!
